Re: adding a key and reprogamming

Long time since I did mine, but, as I recall, PP2000 takes you through the steps, once you have found the start point, and it is simply a matter of following the prompts. I think I remember, at one stage, it asks whether the car has front foglamps, and, naturally you need to answer correctly. Having...

Re: Urgent boot will not open shopping inside!

Professional organisations like the AA have a device for forcing the boot open. It is a sort of bag which is pushed into the gap and then inflated to bend the metal. Sometimes it causes no damage at all.

Could very well be.

You could try the Peugeot Forums for someone with Planet close to you, to get some confirmation.

Re: Which Scanner?

I have no problem running PP2000 on a Win10 laptop, by using a WIN XP3 Virtual Machine, I use VMWare Workstation Player (free).

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie

If you intend to keep the car for quite a long time, the SS exhaust is an investment. I installed a SS system on a Grand Vitara, and it was still fine after 16 years, when i sold it.

Re: Hazard Warning Switch Flashing

Just a guess, but I would look for a short between wires in the door harnesses. The weak point is where the harness exits the body and enters the doors.

Re: Replacement cable needed

I think it is USB A to 15 pin VGA.
EDIT: Note: Link previously shown was for USB C. I think this will do the trick.

Re: Which Scanner?

The only useful alternatives to PP2000/Diagbox are expensive professional tools which will cost many times more.

Re: Peugeot 206 CC 1.6 Newbie

Might be worth trying this from the Owners Handbook (Button A is the large button): Programming the remote control 1 Switch off the ignition. 2 Switch the ignition on again. 3 Press button A immediately for a few seconds. 4 Switch off the ignition and remove the remote control key from the ignition ...

Re: Boot not closing when roof is in the boot!

Apart from a few, there are no part numbers for the individual roof switches. They are mostly combined into electro-mechanical kits, which are presumably what the factory uses to fit the roof. I expect it would cost a small fortune to buy them that way. I think most people who need one get it from a...

Re: Multitude of electrical problems

That button is not supposed to stay in if pressed. It's function is to put the lights into auto mode, i.e. they come on when the car thinks it is dark. To use it, have the ignition on, the lights switched off (position 0/Auto) and hold the button pressed for 4 sec. The auto mode will be remembered u...
