1. I am not a "snoop" 2. I don't work on Motor Insurance so this has nothing to do with me, I am purely trying to make people aware that this is classed as a modification and you should make your insurers aware as any claims made where the have not been told will not be paid. Sorry for hel...

Derek,

Would just like to say thank you for bringing that to my attention, I am an Underwriter for Axa and I will be looking into this as Wheel Arch Extensions most certainly should be charged for.

Yep you are right Col, but also there is the stereotype of "boy racer", insurers tend to think wheel arch extensions the BIG wheel arches and therefore bigger wheels will be added, although the 206 arches are not suitable for this it is a modification to the wheel arch and therefore classe...

Trust me they do cost you extra on your Insurance so you should tell them cause if you have a claim and they see the wheel arch on there they will refuse to pay.

I also don't agree with it and I am an underwriter myself but rules are rules and they are a modification and make a huge difference.

Definately the Mesh Grill, but you should check with your insurers how much extra it will cost, I was quoted £700 MORE, hence I don't have them.

Hi,

The mesh grill is the SP grill and costs roughly about £185 and about £60 for the upper grill too. If you look on the homepage of this site about half way down is a official price list of all the mod's dealers do for the car.

Hope this helps

I was asked today if I would recommend a CC to someone and wondered how many of you would. I said straight away of course I would cause I love my car and could not imagine having any other.

Good to see the CC came 3rd in the top ten best convertibles getting a reasonable 8/10 being beaten by Jaguar and BMW.

MSN also give the car a great review which is also very good to see at long last.
