Re: PP2000 Key Programming - Help!

Is it a new key? If not I think it is impossible to reprogramme .. it needs to be a new "virgin" board from what I remember. I tried on an old one and failed miserably. So it was effectively a mechnical key only (I did get a new immobiliser chip to work, but not the remote buttons). Not sure about W...

Re: Boot Lock jamming

I found that the metal rod could also slip out of the levers and jam so had to rebend it slightly to prevent that from happening. Some sort of clip to keep it in place would not have been a bad idea. Once the plastic hole in the lever gets worn it can jump out more often too.

Re: Car Judders

Which plugs? NGK do not work properly with some coil packs ... search on here for the bad combination.
I think it's the Sagem and NGK plugs that gives the trouble

NGK plugs have resistors which means the coil pack doesn't work properly.

Re: plastic surround trim for inner door handle.

Highly likely these are the same on other 206s so breakers might be an option

Didn't spot the rear bit so ignore the gti reference. Rear arms are all same. Although a bigger pita to replace I understand.

Re: YAY! Through Another MOT

Watch the suspension arm .. it may be wise to change it sooner rather than later. Our 206 had one where the ball joint came out of the arm .. which isn't the greatest way to arrive in an Esso petrol forecourt!! Pretty excessive negative camber too!! And the arms are the GTI version .. fit standard o...

Re: Urgent boot will not open shopping inside!

Surely you only need a simple key if the boot has a different lock?

Re: Tyre sizes and clearance

They do tend to be more expensive ..

My Alfa 156 had 205/55/R16s and they were always a lot cheaper than the CCs 45 profiles. And more choice.

Re: Urgent boot will not open shopping inside!

Make sure that they look at the small rod that operates the lock ... it is simply pushed through a hole in a plastic arm on the lock barrel and has a small clip to hold it in place .. so when unlocked and you push the barrel in, the arm is pushed (or pulled) to operate the rod and the lock ... Excep...

Re: adding a key and reprogamming

You got the immobiliser chips for the keys?

I did try adding a 2nd remote key to our CC but failed .. and was then told it had to be a new "virgin" key as you cannot re-programme an old one ..
