Quick question for Webcode if you are lurking out there!

Do your Textar pads squeak? Also does the excessive brake dust mean they bad for the discs?

It's a definite no to the warranty brake pads... they muttered something about it being a import and scuttled off! Has anyone actually fitted non-pug brake pads yet? If so which ones and how are they performing both squeak and braking wise? Also it is standard to get charged £140 for oil and filter...

My CC is going in for its 20k service on tuesday I am debating whether to let Pug fit new brake pads or whether to buy outside of Pug (pads not actually needed, but cannot put up with mine any longer!) Can anyone give me any brands that are definitely non-squeakers.. I did recall someone mentioning ...

I got fobbed off by Athelston (Cirencester) quoting the 6k rule, Mine is 15 months old and 17k However my brakes have always squeaked and are really irritating me at the moment, so much so that I am considering upgrading, but would prefer none pug pads! If you do get any joy with Glos / Oxon pug reg...

I don't know why you're that worried, to be honest. If you'd wanted an economical car you should have bought an Ibiza TDi or something. A CC is heavy and short-geared, so it's never going to be economical. Actually my cc averages around 44.8mpg for some reason  Not driving like a granny, but d...

I damaged my cc!! :censored: Did see the stupid thing, dipped, braked and braced (apparently trees kill more people than deer, so better not to swerve) Now have to get a new fog light and plastic trim inside the front wheel arch... Not sure what other damage has been done yet, but was very near to t...

Well if you actually planned a meet that was on a reasonable day you'd see!

The 7th is out as I have exams, and I get fired if I don't pass

However would be willing to come to any meet in a mini skirt if Robbie does! :P

Went in to hassle Athelston (Cirencester Pug) on unrelated cc business They confirmed that at least all pre-2000 206's will need to have this clip replaced, otherwise the brake pedal literally drops off. They thought my late 2002 cc was probably not included in this recall. Athelston said that they ...

You could always buy your own pressure washer, we have one and they are great for getting the sh*t off the bottom!
We have one of those, but does take a lot of effort to remove from the shed and plug in! Bought more for tractors etc on the farm....
