Re: How do you stay sane with a 206cc?
Boot catch realigned and now we can lock it................anti pollution warning is back. I'm starting to think the evil HAL 9000 computer from Space Odyssey is controlling the car!

I have used it before on a 206 but this is our first 206cc. Do you think I should opt for the replacement radiator?tenpole wrote:I think your overheating is due to using radweld. Not a fan of it myself, I would rather replace the parts leaking as radweld has adverse effects on the cooling system.

I'm looking at the boot lock and sensors today, the instruments are saying she's overheating but the fan doesn't kick in and there is no steam or apparent overheating?Capncol wrote:Sounds like the boot lock needs adjusting.

Re: Cold Weather Faults
Yes our car is a 2 litre and the warning is "anti pollution" so maybe I'm confusing the two? (I feel a bit stupid now) As we've just bought it I'll get a new battery and oil/filter change asap. I have noticed that it's a bit like a PC turn it off and on again and the faults disappear 9 tim...

Cold Weather Faults
We have a 2003 206CC and when the weather is average there is no warnings. As soon as there is a drop in temperature the Catalytic Converter and Pollen Filter warnings start beeping. I've replaced the pollen filter which was filthy but still comes on when cold weather. Is this a common 206CC trait? ...

Thanks for the welcomes.

Thanks for the advice on here. I managed to complete both in half an hour due to the tips here instead of scratching my head looking in the boot.

We've just bought a 206cc 2.0 and used this site to fix our boot struts so we thought we'd join and say thanks at the same time.
