Central locking problem

Post by Keesrotten »

Hi I just bought a 2005 206cc allure with the intention of tidying it up and using it as a runaround. The central locking is messing around and was hoping you guys could help me out. I have a new battery in the fob.

When I press the lock button the doors lock perfectly, however when I press the unlock button the lights flash, interior lights comes on but the doors do not unlock.

Also when I am in the car and press the lock button, then the doors will both lock but not unlock.

If I manually unlock one of the doors with the key, then the other stays locked.

Has anyone experienced this or any ideas of how to fix? I’d really appreciate help in restoring this little car.

Check Fuse No 15 on the BSI (interior fusebox).

If it's not that it could be a defective relay on the BSI.
