Good evening and a big hello to anybody atill here that may rmember me!!

Its been a while!

I am still in the RAF and currently serving overseas in the Middle East (aren't we all!!) but due home in April.

Many changes since being a regular here - if anyone expresses an interest I may well post an update.

Happy times and memories hanging around on here - and met some great people through the site.

Love to all...

Well lets see...Since you guys last properly heard from me...

I left RAF Brize Norton for a Tour in Iraq in Feb 04. I served in the port town of Umm Qasr, moved to Shaibah Logs Base (ouside Basra) and then to Baghdad.

Got back from there and went to Ascension Island in the South Atlantic Ocean for 13 months.

Got back and went to work at Heathrow Airport (still for the RAF) covering all London airports, plus Birmingham and any ad-hoc work at others.

Got promoted (to Sergeant) and went to work at Headquarters Strike Command at RAF High Wycombe until Dec last year.

Since then I have been in Bahrain, and luckily enough I am currently enjoying the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix weekend (race day tomorrow!)

I have so far met Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Nick Heidfeld, Jarno Trulli, Scott Speed, Rubens Barichello and David Coulthard. Most of the drivers are staying at the 6-Star Ritz Carlton hotel just over the road from my apartment.

I have had VIP tickets since Thursday and am about to head off back to the track for the Porsche race.

Tomorrow morning at 7.30 I have a tour round the pit lane and then settle back and enjoy the entertainment of the day culminating in tickets for the After-Race party at the Coral Beack Resort.

As you can tell I am pretty excited!!

So that's me - what about you?

Greg
