rear lights

Post by bullitproof »

I thought I would share , while I was repairing damage to rear panel I took both rear lights out so not to get paint on them had water in both ,found that the glue holding the lens on had given up allowing water ingress so cleaned up re glued back on then put clear builders silicon in the small gap ,cleaned off works a treat

This is a common fault with the water filling up the lens. I did not know it was where the glue had failed. Cost £17 for new bulb holder due to the corrosion.
