2004 Peugeot 206 CC in Mexico Soon to be Mine

Post by Dibbons »

I became interested in a local red 2004 206 cc for sale because it reminded me of one of my first vehicles--an orange 1970 Porsche 914 1.7 liter 5-speed that I purchased in 1980 and drove daily for ten years. The 1970 model 914 was selected by the U.S. publisher's of Motor Trend Magazine as 1970 Import Car of the Year.

The seller believes there are two other 2004 206 cc in the vicinity here of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. She purchased the vehicle about 7 years ago and it shows 92,000 kilometers. The asking price is $50,000 Mexican Pesos which I believe is a fair price. Seller has already pointed out to me a few mechanical defects which I hope to repair with a little help from my friends here on the forum.

For your information, I already own and am in the process of restoring three American manufactured classic automobiles: 1965 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S, 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet Convertible, and a 1972 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. My first car was a 1965 Plymouth Valiant four-door sedan V-8 automatic which I purchased in 1973 and sold in 1980.

Here on the forum I will be using my childhood nickname which is Mr. Dibbons. Thank you and I look forward to sharing my trials and tribulations with everyone here.

Make sure the roof and windows work ... that can be a pain to fix and you're unlikely to find spares where you are easily!
