Roof not working properly

Just to clarify - are you saying that the parcel shelf does not retract when the boot lid opens?

Also, when the roof stops, if you release the control, and re-apply it in the same direction, does the roof start closing again?


If not, when it stops, release the control, and apply it in the opposite direction. Does the roof reverse direction?

Well I didn't pay attention to the shelf so I'm not entirely sure about it, and yes I tried everything with the button, and no matter what, the constant beep is heard

Finally sorted it out. The lever which is supposed to tell the ecu that the roof is in the boot wasnt being pushed by the roof enough to activate the switch. I wrapped a rag around the lever to compensate, and it is working fine now
