i have just bought a new gear knob as the other one is wearing out, could someone let me know how the old one comes off

Do a keyword search for gear knob using the search facility in the menu (top left hand side of page). It'll come up with several, including this....

What type of gear knob?

Telling us what car, engine, gearbox, year of manufacture would help ...

Doh .. But I didn't answer a 2:51pm either ... Pretty sure it was very late last night ... I was in a meeting when this was posted today and no internet access ...
