Just wanted to know what you guys think my car should be worth, as Glasses etc don't consider imports:

Spec as follows:
1.6 S Moonstone
Alloys, with Cloth, no sports pack
25,000 miles
1 owner (me) from new
Imported with full UK spec from Belgium
Warranty (EU) runs out in Nov 2004, although you can extend for £200

I am really fed up with my car- after 2 years of squealing! Tried EBC Green Stuff pads, now just have a more expensive squeal.

Thinking of getting 1.4 Tigra Sport with Leather (HEATED SEATS!) and Sat Nav, Cruise Control and they have mp3 players unlike backward Peugeot! :D

Cheaper insurance, better mpg, no sqeaks..... bye bye pugs!

maybe the tigra squeals too ;)

Have you tried changing the brake discs too

As for resell value, don't mention it's an import until asked, you never know

I fully expect the Tigra to squeak, rattle and generally fall apart - I'm going to miss my reliable Corolla

When I part ex'd my cc the first question they asked was 'is it an import?'

It's illegal to discriminate against goods sourced from another EU member state.

Well its a done deal- only up to 12 weeks left of Peugeot ownership!

I was too lazy to change the discs, but frankly I have been thoroughly p**sed off with the way Peugeot have dealt with this. In my opinion head turning brake squeal is not a desirable feature of a new car and is a fault.

I guess the whole brake situation arose because Peugeot decided to cobble something together from bits of a Citreon xsara rather than do a proper job

Here's hoping Vauxhall are more efficient & helpful ;)

Think I was won over by the electronic boot and the fact that you can actually easily put stuff in the boot when the roof is down!
