fair enough, but atleast my car isn't a vauxhall roflAll a matter of taste!
At least my car is no longer as common as muck!
New Tigra
Well I prefer Opel!
However at least they have made a super diesel and a true sports car.... now what have peugeot ever done?
My 206cc was my first Peugeot, and I probably wouldn't buy another Peugeot. However more because of the service than anything else. I am very convinced that a new car simply shouldn't have severe brake squeal. I didn't get anywhere complaining so gave up and spent a fortune on pads!

Yes, I'm a girl!
Cotswolds - I've now given up using the controls on the steering wheel and use the volume on the radio itself! I didn't get Sat Nav as I've no use for it - so sorry I can't help on how to use it.
I thought my car had developed an annoying rattle yesterday - turned out to be my sunglasses rattling in the visor
I'm not going to slag off the 206cc on here and get into the argument of my cars better than yours etc. but I would say that the Tigra seems to be put together more solidly and the company in France that makes both cars have obviously learnt from their mistakes with the 206cc. I still like the 206cc but I'm glad I don't own (the bad) one I had any more

good to see the tigra is well built.
the 206CC quality overall is poor - taking into account i owned two i am qualified to say that.
if anything, a combination of deplorable dealer service and reliability is what stopped me from buying the 307CC.

sorry to hear about your 206cc problems, but just because yours wasnt perfect doesnt mean they are all like that.
mine is fantastic, after sales is even better, and in a year has had hardly any problems, cant wait for the summer when i can drop the top on this "sports car" which it is
ps. good luck with the depreciation

100's of CC's in Swindon, I see everyone has given up on the spotted section on the grounds that you would have to report around 10 on each journey!
My 206cc was my first Peugeot, and I probably wouldn't buy another Peugeot.
Why IF you HATE Peugeot 206cc so much are you still writing things on the PEUGEOT 206CC website.
Is there not a Vauxhall website that you can register on.
A lot of people are happy with there 206cc and like coming on the PEUGEOT website to talk about them.
I just don't understand why you are slagging them off on the Peugeot website
I don't HATE the 206cc - why on earth would I have bought one! I was sad to see my little car go.Why IF you HATE Peugeot 206cc so much are you still writing things on the PEUGEOT 206CC website.

However I do hate the service I received, perhaps made worse by the dealers hating me as I bought an import. You have to admit having a car where you have to upgrade the discs to stop it squeaking is going a bit far!
However for all import owners- trade it in at a dealer, I got above book price for mine. Around £2.5k depreciation in 2 yrs and 30k miles. Fantastic.
T_J: I thought being fans of these type of cars you might have been remotely interested to see what other manufacturers have been up to- and lets face it they had the 206cc to copy, so if they couldn't improve on the design it would be a poor show!
Sorry if my posts have offended you- would you prefer me to stop posting?
Yes, I'm a girl!
All posts are welcome from current or previous owners. I myself I'm happy with my 206cc and so far its been good to me with no major problems other than one roof failure. Squeaky brakes yeah well I did uprate my pad and discs and now they are squeak free. True the service at the garages could be better and peugeots aren't built the best.
I'm sure there are still alot of happy owners out there.
Can't wait till the summer comes round again!

all cc's look good, we are all opinions
experiences overall are good and bad - but two bad ones for myself isn't a coincidence.sorry to hear about your 206cc problems, but just because yours wasnt perfect doesnt mean they are all like that.

Well I shall keep you all posted with the Tigra's progress
Interesting to have owned both cars and be able to compare them, I shall do some more miles and keep you all updated
So far I am slightly concerned that my 1.4 Tigra does less miles per gallon than my 1.6 206cc, here's hoping that its because the Tigra is new!
Also missing the back seats - they made ideal handbag space without the pain of opening the boot (which is amusing, but very slow with the Tigra!)

Have just spotted my first on the road Tigra with body coloured roof section and I have to agree with Dan. It does look 100% better. It looked really nice actually. It looks better with the body coloured roof section, those silver roof sections look hideous
Life's too short to drive around with your roof up.
Well, looks like the Tigra will be coming to Oz in November this year. Just in time for Summer, i see.Looks nice, and sounds much better appointed, but I still think the CC looks better - which is just as well seeing as the Tigra is not available here.

What true sports car have they made? Are you referring to the VX220 (built by Lotus) or the Monaro (built by Holden)?
However at least they have made a super diesel and a true sports car.... now what have peugeot ever done?
Of course if we return to the past we can see the 13/60 "Prince Henry" Vauxhall and the RAK2 rocket-powered Opel, but I suspect they're not what you're thinking of
