Broken Windshield

Post by DankDeathPunch »

Is there anyone who knows if it is even possible to change the windscreen on your own...
I got my 206cc recently and the previous owner has not made a insurance claim regarding it
before he ended his insurance and put the car to rest...
I can't find any guides online and i don't feel like paying over 600£ to get it changed...

Thanks in advance!

Bonded in .. so unless you have access to the equipment, probably not.

Try and find an independent windscreen fitter. I was quoted nearly £700 by autoglass for my vito as they are used to dealing with insurance claims. Got it done for £139 by an indy

I don't have glass cover as I have a motortrade policy

Did you get your windscreen sorted in the end and did you do it yourself or get a fitter to do it? How much was it? I just broke my windscreen on my 206cc while it was off road being worked on for the MOT, so not insured.
