Hi,
Ive just had my 206cc, 52 plate 1600cc serviced at a peugeot main dealer. They changed the spark plugs for Peugeot branded Bosch plugs. The Bosch number is FR8SE, Peugeot number 5960.57. I have since had an ignition problem which an independant garage sorted for me, this resulted in a new coil pack and another set of plugs!! The garage tells me that the plugs which were fitted by Peugeot were the wrong ones and were too low a resistance which may have contributed to the breakdown of the coil. The plugs they fitted, which are the ones recomended by Bosch for the vehicle, are number FR8SC+. Who is right, did Peogeot fit the wrong ones?
Thanks

na thats the ones we fit. the bosch plugs have much more tolerance than the pug own ones.
i suspect you just have a very common coil failure and not a plug issue. :)

Hi,
But have Peugeot fitted the correct ones, according to thier spec or have they made a mistake?
Cheers
