My air conditioning system on my 1.4 Peugeot 206, Y reg, was not blowing cold, so I had it re-gassed at KwikFit. (KF) After it was re-gassed the compressor tries to start but stops immediately, this continues as long as it is switched on. Not only does the compressor fail to engage but the Engine cooling fan switches on, even when the engine is cold. It stops when I turn the Air Conditioning off. KF seems to think it is a faulty Air Conditioning Pressure Valve, which they say will be very expensive. The only fault I had when I took it in was the air was not cold.
Any ideas please?
