I've spent my "driving life" in 4x4s, Land Rover Discoverys, and HGV horse lorries. This summer, I've had a pre-emptive mid life crisis and decided I wanted a pretty girly car, always thought the 206cc looked like fun - so sold my Disco and bought a silver 206cc, in the space of 24 hours. Thought I had a good deal as although a 51 plate has a very low mileage, bought from very reputable garage.
Well... they're a quirky little french thing aren't they? In my language they are very akin to a sensitive thoroughbred racehorse!!
I've had mine 6 weeks and I'm now on first name terms with several AA men in our area. This forum is last chance saloon for Juliette (oh yes, a silly car has to have a silly name!) as if I can't get to grips with her she's back on autotrader!
Other than the fact that she's had several new tyres, blowouts on the A14, the anti pollution fault warning pops up if you drive for more than half an hour, and the rattling boot is driving me to distraction.... well other than all that I love her, she is a great fun drive and is saving me a small fortune on fuel. Thank goodness for my 3 months all parts/repair guarantee!
I'd love to post a really cool photo of my car in a lovely location, looking well cared for and loved. .. but this is all I have and most appropriate as she seems to have spent more time like this than anything else!

Looking forward to trying to find out more about the cars "quirks" and just how much bale string and gaffer tape it will take to shut the bloody boot up!!
:-)
