Just joined the 206cc club and ive never been happier !!!

Hi guys, just bought my first 206cc its a Black 2006 1.6 hdi allure, absolutely love it, my only problem is the window washer jets only spray the bottom quater of the windscreen meaning my windscreen is always rotten, is this normal ??
Would appreciate any suggestions, also a mate of mine has the 2.0 litre petro engine same year in Silver and his doors lock automatically when he gets to about 5mph, can i activate this on mine at all ??

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds as if your washer jets need adjusting if the spray is strong. If the spray is weak maybe there is gunk in the reservoir or a partial blockage. Don't use water, use one of the readymixed washer fluids as they don't gunk up as the ones you have to dilute do. Anyway, needs sorting because if your wipers are working on a dry screen you'll end up with scratches on your windscreen and quickly wear out your blades, which aren't cheap.

There are so many others on their, they made it onto ITN evening news, both editions, she deffo lost it, waste of a voice, waste of talent, waste of space!

Hi Everybody, yet another newbie to join your merry band.
Picked this little beauty up last week, 02 plate, 70,000 mls mint (no not the colour!:)) condition.
Only 1 minor problem so far, it wouldn't start today after only being parked up for 5 minutes!... seems that it may have been the immobiliser that didn't reset right, but opened/locked the doors 3 times and it started first time!
