I always play them off against each other. They just pluck a figure out the air most of the time anyway hoping people are stupid enough to pay it.
On a similar topic has anyone had a quote for their cc from that E-sure - you know the one who dont insure bad drivers. If you say 206CC they tell you they don't insure that vehicle.......and here is me thinking it's drivers not vehicles that count with them.

i'm gonna ring my company for commission for telling u lot who they r. watch this space if they agree,mind u, i've been driving performance cars since i was 19, also got hgv 1 and psv 1,and no named drivers. max 5000 miles per year and garaged helps,as does £150 voluntary exess.

well axa don't bother about a few modifications (DO THEY CLAIRE COOK ?) and i'm 27/m, full prot. ncd, SP30 conv, and drive 20k miles pa so £595 is not bad.

Think Hastings Direct are probably good for you because of your particular circumstances. I logged on to http://www.hastingsdirect.co.uk, they can't quote me on line as I use the car for business and have had a claim (albeit non fault) in the last three years. I may be wrong but I always think if any of these exclusions relate to me they'll charge me through the nose! Glad you got a good deal though.

well, here in Norway Peugeot sells insurans to you if you by a new car. The first year is between 200 and 300£ all after how many years you have drove faulty free. This is a realy good deal, but it will raise after the first year, but then you are free to change insuranse company... :-)

you can get insurance from peugeot in the uk - very amusing quotes too if you want to pay about £2k
