I have read every article available in this forum about roof dramas and responses but still don't have an answer yet.
I checked Aussie frogs website and the cc owners club too.
1. Roof stopped for no apparent reason.
2. Computer diagnostics by Peugeot confirm that nothing is wrong!!!!! (Twice)
3. I have checked all microswitches for contact and current flow from boot curtain; boot lock; 2 roof clips;hinges, and the three on the parcel shelf.
4. Car is now in bits and not being driven till I figure this out!!!
5. I know the microswitches in the boot were OK because if I opened the boot or removed the curtain the the warning chime would sound.
6. With everything in correct placement the "Bong" sound would not happen when roof was unclipped; I thought and hoped it was the front microswitches.....No!
What else would stop the "Bong" from occuring please?
I have watched all the available videos; manually put the roof up & down like a yo-yo, it is currently down and chiming like a music box now; I can't seem to the hinge locks to electronically lock to a waterproof level.
I took the car to the mechanic who checked everything in the first place, he informed me, he could not remember what he has looked at, continued onto the next sentence which started with $1000.
Any constructive help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Gregg
