Do you reeally think they were? Maybe for 10 minutes or so at the end of the first half/start of the second but other than that i think England just nicked it. An absolute fluke of a goal...(Nayim?)
Now if only Sven had pulled Steve Bull out of retirement....

Both teams were crap, just 2 chances on goal, which were both scored, then a freaky goal and its all over.

I thought we played really poorly. I just wonder why Sven didn't go all guns blazing when then was 30 minutes left with Teddy, Michael, Darius and Heskey all at once to see if we could make a game of it

nah, seaman is to blame for the goal, but you cant blame him for the defeat cause the lads let themselves down with their dissapointing performance today.

But hey they knocked out the argies  .....lol

Good whilst it lasted

I Agree with Erm..

Seaman is to blame for letting the goal in.. He looked asleep right upto the ball was over his head! By then it was too late..

Overall he did brilliantly through the tournment for the team, shame a small lack of concentration let him down. I remember Sven warning the team about being focussed as Brazil will take any opportunity to score.. and they did!

We reached the quarter finals which is an achievement and all the players should be proud of that and beating certain opponents!

Well Done Brazil. hard luck England.

It was a freaky second goal, from that far out I don't think you can blame Seaman for being off his line, not sure that any goal keeper could have saved it.

Robbie.
