What's this for?

Post by gummidge999 »

I'm a new cc convert and just bought my first. Such fun ! Anyway I just cannot figure out what the button, between the airbag disarm switch and steering column, is for. It has a picture on it of a dot from which emanate about five concentric arcs of increasing size. Any help would be great. Cheers

Turns off the movement sensors ... you hold it down until the alarm armed red light stays on. Then lock the door as normal. Lets you arm the alarm with the roof down ..

Its also used when you need to disconnect the battery to recharge it off the car, or to replace it with a new one. See the last page of your owners handbook.

Thanks gazza82 and GrandadMonkey have played with it and see what you mean. Must try and get a handbook from somewhere for when something else crops up as I'm sure it will going by the forum posts :-)
