Would anyone have any clarification as to which grade oil to use ?...the manual didn't come with the car

Hi i am new to the forum , i took the plunge 2 weeks ago and got myself the 1.6 206cc..."02" reg...
Would anyone have any clarification as to which grade oil to use ?...the manual didn't come with the car

I can't tell you which oil off the top of my head, but you can download the manual from this site.

I don't think the oil spec is in the owners manual. It is in the service booklet. For the petrol 1.6 206cc it is Total Quartz 9000 5w40 Fully Synthetic oil. Always use a genuine Peugeot oil filter too as some aftermarket ones have been known to collapse and cause low oil pressure problems.
