206cc heater problem
Can anyone tell me why Peugeot are saying that I need to buy the full heater blower when it's the resistor that's gone and they tel me I have to buy it all as it's all in one @ £206 +vat,is there anyway to do it cheaper. Plz help

The problem that I have is that it's a 206cc with climate control which I'm told is a totally different to the ones without climate control. Is there some sort of relay that could be the problem as all peugeot want to sell is the fan with resistor built into it. I'm sure that there will be a cheaper alternative to that. And trying to get a part number from them is like pulling teeth lol. And as winter is here I need it to be reliable as it's for my wife to ferry kids all over. Thanx for your help.

Yes, climate and non-climate blowers aren't interchangeable.
I have one that I removed from a 42,000 mile car. If it's mainland UK then I could do it for £37.50 inc P&P.
