Hi & welcome to the forum.
If you are saying that you can't read anything from the car, then maybe there is no power supply to the EOBD skt
12v+ on pin 16
Gnd pin4-5

Re: passenger air bag deactivated
I think aircon is on the same data pin, so if it read that then data is getting to EOBD plug. Try a BSI reset (details at the top of this forum) then re-scan, as it may just be the module & BSI not talking to each other.
Cheers Col.

Re: passenger air bag deactivated
Entered the ac fine, I tried the bsi reset already, it was really helpful to know thank you, unfortunately it didn't work though. I have just found out that the car is a cat c, do you know if the airbag ecu is meant to be under the ashtray? I have a feeling that someone may have removed it and not replaced it?
Many thanks

Airbag module is under centre console ahead of the gearlever. It's a squarish unit about 3" square. Big orange plug.
If it's a Cat C, it may have crash data that needs to be cleared depending if airbags were deployed or not.

I've checked that area as that's where I've known them to be in the past but there's not one there. I have a feeling it's been removed in the past then never put back before she bought the car as she's always had the airbag problem. Can I just buy a second hand one and for it or does it need to be programmed?
Many thanks

I think you ought to register with Peugeot Service Box online as if you were an independant garage.
You can then input your VIN number and it will give you the exact part number for the airbag module that should replace the one in your car. You can even frighten yourself with the price of a new one!
After that you should be able to get the same part number module from eBay. However you will probably still need it to be programmed using Peugeot Planet as different trim levels have different numbers of airbags - e.g. leather trim often has airbags in the sides of the seats. Older or base model ones may not have a passenger airbag.
You could take a punt and simply try getting one from another 53 plate and similar model (probably about £25), but it would be a gamble that might well not pay off.
Have you found a big orange plug under the ashtray which isn't connected to anything?
Oh and put your location in your profile in case one of us who has PP2000 is near enough to be able to help.
