I can't understand Peugeot. My 2 month old car has now been in 5 times at 2 dealers to fix a roof alarm problem (see roof prob page). It is finally fixed and today they gave me a courtesay call to see if everything is OK. I pointed out I am now having trouble with the roof mechanism not always working. The mechanic pointed out that he had seen a fault with the screen when it was in last week but is not allowed to fix a problem the customer has not complained about, so just left it. Now it is causing me problems I have to take it back again, wait for them to order the part, when they had the car for 3 days just last week and could have fixed it then.
Has anyone heard of such a stupid company policy?

Jobs worth caps all round I think !

PS. Good job it wasn't a potentially fatal fault.

hmmmm - sounds a bit daft. As Robbie said, what if they had discovered something that later went so badly wrong it caused an accident? Dummies....
