picks and choose when it starts !

Post by mdoswell »

Hi guys.
After some advice.

just bought a 206 2.0l hdi . W reg.

Just before I bought it the previous owner changed the battery (new one).

It started fine when I left there . Fine the next morning popped into the ship then wouldn't start engine turned over but wouldn't fire . Gave it 5 minutes started fine . No struggle at all . Keeps doing this some times its all fine then from no where won't start . When it does start there is no struggle . Any help ? Please

We don't have that engine in our cars - this is the 206cc forum.

However I would be suspecting crankshaft position sensor.

By the way there is no need to ask the same question 3 times. I will delete your duplicate and triplicate posts.

You need to get the fault codes read. Post those and I will try and help.
