How do you stay sane with a 206cc?

Bought one for my wife and we both loved it.

Since we have had it the boot hit me on the head, sought advice on here the boot struts were broken so I replaced them.
The rear light was full of water so was replaced.
The passenger seat was stuck at an incline position and again I got advice on here how to reset it
The Catalytic fault came on then disappeared for a few days then came on again then stopped.
The antipollution fault started then went away then came back so I changed the pollen filter being an idiot I thought it was that. Checking on here again I had put cheap fuel in and now with the better quality fuel she is purring and no faults.
Then the car over heated and dumped all the water on the floor, radweld and good as new but now overheats STOP light comes on but has proper antifreeze levels and no water loss?
The boot wouldn't lock after a week, it had a loose screw I put it in back into position and now locks fine but the car keeps beeping that it's open.
Now we lock it sit in the house for four or five hours and the alarm goes off for no reason. We try and relock it and it refuses?

I've had more problems with this car in weeks than I've had with our old 206 in five years.

Sounds like the boot lock needs adjusting.
Is it overheating or are you going by the instruments.

Our 'CC has been faultless in the 3 years / 22,000 miles we've had it.

Gremlins! They wait till the coast is clear, then sneak in up the exhaust pipe and activate the Random Fault Selector module.

I think your overheating is due to using radweld. Not a fan of it myself, I would rather replace the parts leaking as radweld has adverse effects on the cooling system.

I'm looking at the boot lock and sensors today, the instruments are saying she's overheating but the fan doesn't kick in and there is no steam or apparent overheating?

I have used it before on a 206 but this is our first 206cc. Do you think I should opt for the replacement radiator?

That might not cure it as rad weld can mess about with your whole cooling system. I used it once on a 2.0 gl Capri (reg HYF 136W I guess I loved that car) , the rad weld stopped the leak but it played havoc with my thermostat.

Col is right. It needs longer runs to get the engine up to full operating temperature and burn off the unburnt hydrocarbons from the lambda sensors.

I've taken a blast down the motorway and the next day no sensors beeping. We thought it was a miracle! took about 15 minutes for the ABS warning to come on? We're seriously thinking of ebaying it after this.
