Got the CC on Friday...

I'm VERY happy with it so far!!
I have had the top down a few times, and haven't had any of the reported CC problems yet.

I took it out in the rain yesterday, without any leaks. The rain today has just been torrential so I will check inside for leaks when I go home!

Only thing that was disturbing was a tiny dink in the boot metalwork, which was pointed out to the Peugeot dealer. He was also quite upset, and is getting the bodywork man in to have a look this week. Not a noticible dent unless you catch the light right, but a bit annoying on a brand new car.

Congrats. What colour and model? See previous posts on the woes of my paint job. Also had a small dent in the bonnett, which they have managed to pull out. I will update on the resluts of my 'repairs' shortly. Anyway enjoy it!

Thanks mate.
It's a CCSE, Black, Black/Red Leather...

I had a barney at the dealer when I bought the car, as the other Pug dealer nearby offered me a CD changer with the car for the same price. I told my dealer that I wanted this, and he said no way. I nearly walked out, and he offered me a Silver/Black special edition instead.

This meant 4 weeks shorter wait, plus Â£200 off, plus luggage rack.

Picked the car up, and *suprise*, no luggage rack. Dealer says that they have to buy that in, so I can use the Â£200 towards another accessory if I choose, so I'll pay the Â£130 for an autochanger...
(I wish they had arranged that at the beginning!!!)

Nope,

It is NO different to the normal CC except for a luggage rack (which I didn't get anyway!)

Nothing on the car says special edition!

Maybe what's meant by special is the bugs have been wiped out - that's special, but I'm not complaining (too much)

If you are all planning to come to the meet, we could maybe arrange a M3 convoy as it was great fun travelling in convoy up to the north meet!
