Sorry you feel like that, but it looks like the posts you didn't get an answer to were ....
#1 The one where you were "arcing it out with a small screwdriver" How do you answer doing something as daft as that?
#2 A wanted ad for a mirror.....Maybe no one has one for sale?

Which just leaves #3 "high beam problem" with no answers, so that's a bit unfair to say "nobody ever seems to reply to things"

In answer to #3, You don't say anything about the *new* comms unit, whether it is new genuine Pug unit with correct numbers or another recon unit.
Have you checked the fuses? Does main beam work using flasher function? Lastly regarding remote- You havent said how you got around "arcing it out with a small screwdriver" to be able to give an answer about the problem. (See the bit in red at the bottom of all my posts- in particular "any relevant work carried out to try to solve the problem to help us help you.")
Cheers Col.

Better still, put the details in your signature.

Happy + 206 cc owner
You can see we are hard up against it from the start. There are not many full time members on this forum. People join to fix the problem and then mostly go and I dont blame them as we all have busy lives ( ie Atilla Total War).
You should spare a thanks to those whom do monitor the forum and when presented with a full symptoms will offer free advice. Solutions are often correct due to the regulars experience and inside out knowledge of the car.

All of us on here are unpaid volunteers and I have to say I am offended by your remarks. Suggest you take you car to a main dealer instead. You've been with us a month and contributed nothing positive. Goodbye Steve.

The OPs post asking for a door mirror from what turned out to be a dealer/breaker is probably down to Ron posting the disclaimer .. He's unlikely to respond now.

If I don't get an answer, I don't get arsy .. I look elsewhere too ... Fleabay for parts, other 206 forums, .. And I also try to give forum members a few days to respond as we all have ither things in our lives. People seem to think because the can search for something and get an instant answer, everything is the same.

I have not found this to be the case personally Bertie. You have to appreciate most use this as a fix it forum where they join up ask to fix x y z then never hear from them again.

The days when this forum might have been a thriving community of modders and enthusiasts has gone as the car has got older. There are only a limited number of contributors whom have the technical knowledge to answer fix it questions. As for everything else thast is up to how much you contribute yourself in joining in.
