Hi Guys
I have a wuring noise coming from one of my back wheels.... more noticebale at low speeds.. 25mph. It kind of goes wur wur wur wur. I am just wondering how easy the rear wheel bearings are to replace. As far as I am aware they are a complete assembly arent they??. Would anyone be able to provide me with some instructions on how to change these and also the best way to pin point which wheel it is coming from with the back of the car jacked up. Cheers in advance peeps.

Re: Rear Wheel Bearing Replacement
You should be able to feel the harshness in the faulty one by jacking up and revolving the wheel by hand. Search for the thread on replacing discs and pads, Once the disc is off there are 3 or 4 bolts holding the hub assembly to the radius arm.

Hi Col.
Thanks for your reply. This hub just has one large nut in the middle under the cap. Could you help?

New wheel bearing kit should come with new locking or staked nut. This may be a different socket size from the one you remove.
Can you borrow a socket set?
Cheers Col.
