Intermittent Air bag light and speedo not working

Apologies in advanced if this has been asked previously. Basically my mrs 206 cc has had an Intermittent fault. The air bag light pops up and on the centre console various messages pop up usually just saying air bag fault but also had ABS fault and braking fault all at the same time! Also the speedo randomly stops working when the light pops up. The car drives fine and it will reset overnight and someones if will be a few days before it reoccurs. It had a new battery a few months ago and it was in the garage last week to try and find the issue. The garage said the speed sensor was at fault and replaced it I thought everything was fine.

Mrs texts me earlier saying the fault popped up again!!! Her father is an auto electrician and said it could be and ABS sensor but as he has recently moved to Italy it will be months before he comes back to the UK.

Any help would be really appreciated.

That would have been my guess as it the thing that links the faults you had. Is it EXACTLY the same faults again or just 1 of them?

Get them to do a code read on it and see what error codes you get

Yeah I'm gonna get it back in with the garage. I will suggest the abs sensor and see what they find, just don't want to spend much as want to get rid of it next year.

The abs module went pop on my daughter's KA and it basically wrote the vehicle off..£800 bill!! It's now gone to KA heaven, my daughter was given my wife's car and I purchased her a 206 cc.

Certainly hope it's not that expensive. Car is a 2003 but only has 22k on the clock so I'm hoping it's not too costly as car is in great condition, just this bloody fault that's letting it down. If it's anymore than a few hundred she will have to live with it until I trade it in next year.

It was very annoying as the brakes still worked fine but did not have the abs function, no speedo though! Costly exercise all in all due to a jump start caused by a flat battery, I will NOT be jump starting anybody any more its too dangerous if you spike the electrics. (put the fan on the heater on to avoid apparantly) but dont want to test that theory.
