Hi Guys
So far I have found out that the boot light switch is not a striker plate type switch but in fact a level switch which is located in the boot lid somewhere. Does anyone know where this switch is located and how I get to it.
Many thanks
Nick

Re: Interior Boot Light
Hi,
I cannot help i'm afraid.
I have just checked mine and its not the boot lock as you say and the lamp seems to illuminate at different positions. Your sensor idea is looking viable.
Good luck and let us know,
Cheers,
Iain.

Re: Interior Boot Light
It is located above the LH edge of the rear number plate, so I expect you have the remove the boot lid interior trim to gain access. Part No 6366 37 - Trunk Lamp Contact Switch.
