Greg, I'd do it asap if you have no protection. Just buy a good quality computer anti virus software package at your local computer store like "Norton AntiVirus" or order it through the web.
With Norton you just stick the CD -Rom disc into your computer an let it do the rest an it'll automatically look after your PC - its that simple - honest.
Hee-hee....
I'll be around a while yet Robbie (till my missus discovers how many posts i've made and how long i spend on the internet. That's the nature of the beast in my line of work though - intense periods of activity followed by loooonnggg periods of down-time....I'd recommend it to anyone!!!
on the subject of viruses, i'm not too sure of the technical sides of computers but i already have norton but i think it might need updated.
i had an e-maila few days ago from my local dealer (that i dont use)- motorway_cars@dealers.peugeot.co.uk. titled eager to see you and an attached file 350.bat a bit silly but i opened it and nothing happened. i scanned my laptop for viruses last night and nothing was found.
today i got an e-mail from rodhutchinson@peugeotnet.co.uk titled background and a file attached called Uw.zip. i replied saying the e-mail had been deleted as it contained an attached file from an unknown source but the e-mail was returned unknown. i also deleted the e-mail.

I had one two from the address too Stuart, had another two this morning with subject line 'motability'. There's definitely someone got it in for us Peugeot owners! Everyone make sure your virus software is up to date.
