head lights

Can anyone help please, My head lights come on, on their own with out me turning them on. this is very worrying as if they can just turn on can they also turn off on their own while driving at night. ? Malc.

Do you perhaps have the automatic option selected, which turns them on when it gets dark?

It is explained in the handbook. If you don't have a copy, go to http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ddb/, choose language , car and date.

Thanks for that, but mine is a 2002 model and as far as i know does not have the automatic option.

No they seem to have a mind of their own!! when behind another car i can see my lights are on by the reflection.

Did you look? It is on page 75 of the handbook for 01/12/2001 - 31/08/2002, and page 76 of the next one.

Are you sure they are your lights.... I often follow other cars and can see lights reflected. Certainly are not mine. But you can see car's behind with theirs on.
