I still get the 02 fault. i might have a small exhaust blow. i had a leak in the connection to the rear muffler but i have screwed around with it, replaced rubber hanging thingys and was resonably satisfyed with the result when tightening the clamp, but i bought a new clamp and shold replace it. there is a seal there, looks like copper, shold i replace it or is it enough to heat/glow it up? il take a good second look at it to be sure.
I guess there is no way around a diagnose scan.

Diagnose done:
Intermittent. P0141 downstream oxygen sensor heating control: not specified
Intermittent. P0135 oxygen sensor heating control: not specified
Permanent. P0170 fuel injection: coherense
Intermittent. P0445 canister purge electrovalve: short circuit to positive or open circuit
Live data emission control
Engine speed rpm. 672,00
Batteri voltage V. 13,80
Upstream oxygen sensor voltage mV 331.53
Downstream oxygen sensor voltage mV 39.00
Mixture regulation status. Closed loop
Engine cooling and air conditioning
Engine speed rpm. 672.00
Batteri voltage V 13.90
Coolant temperature C. 83
Air temperature C. 22
Fan Relay status. Inactive
Cooling fan speed %. 0.00
Air condition autorisation. Yes
Air intake
Engine speed rpm 704
Batteri voltage V 13.80
Throttle Butterfly condition Idling speed
Throttle position voltage mV. 666.74
Stepper motor steps. 42.00
Mangfold Pressfire mBar. 358.80
Air temperature C. 24.00
Autologic diagnostics.
Aldo did MOT. Failed on MIL light naturally, also defect foglight rear, hoping Its a burnt out lightbulb.
Have until may to figure out engine problem.

Re: MIL Light illuminated
Temps look OK. You can't really tell anything from a snapshot of dynamic O2 data. Was the upstream sensor voltage rising and falling and the 2nd fairly stable as that's what you should see?
Cheers Col.

What about the permanent error, fuel injection- coherance?

Re: MIL Light illuminated
I explained that earlier- Fuel trim, but you need to find whats causing it. Long shot, but have you checked cam timing? If it's a tooth out it can cause this.
BTW- Shouldn't have failed on EML / MIL

Re: MIL Light illuminated
Timingbelt was replaced recently, but i had the same issue before i had this done(by a pro) so i dont think the timing is the culprit.

Re: MIL Light illuminated
AFAIK MIL for anything other than EML is a fail, but EML only is an advisory. I will have to check as it may have recently changed.gazza82 wrote:Think you do now Col ...Capncol wrote:BTW- Shouldn't have failed on EML / MIL... I know of at least two others that failed because of that .. might be new instructions to go with new MOT training. But if that light is one it generally means an engine issue.
Cheers Col.
