Windows and roof, no signal, no BONG, no 3 times 3 beeps...

Good day peeps,
I have yet again another window/roof problem, however this one seems to be more on the wiring/electrical part... So it all started when intermittently the window switches would not work and then another day they would; I noticed that sometimes high humidity inside the cabin contributed to them working; as it turns out, because one of the rear windows was not sealing well, when rained the car would get filled with water not inside the cabin but in the space inside the "walls", you could hear it swoosh when driving/moving the car, for this, the "holes" on the bottom were clogged with dirt, I poked them and got to drain the water properly again, however, I am guessing the wiring got corroded? So here is the problem:

Windows switches will not do anything, roof switch will not do anything, don't get a bong when unlocking the roof, don't get the fast beeps when clicking on the roof switch... Nothing, however, the mirrors work ok...

Has anybody have this particular scenario?

I have exactly the same problem. Suddenly, all at once, window switches don't work, roof switch doesn't work, no warning 'bong'. I'm due to trade the car in with Peugeot in a few weeks when its replacement arrives (new), so wondering whether to try and fix the problem now, simply own up to it when handing the car in in part-ex, or possibly say nothing and let the garage deal with it When they prep the car to sell on. Any advice gratefully received.

I would simply own up to it before they accept the car off you. I couldn't live with myself if I did someone down. Do as you would be done by.

When you have the lights on, do the controls for both the windows and roof still light up or are they dark?
