just got ADSL a week ago - wow, what a difference.
makes browsing fun again and not a painful chore. Seems no one is sharing my exchange at the moment so I am getting the FULL bandwidth

You're right Rob it's amazing what bandwidth does. I have cable and the videos took seconds to download. I could never go back to a 56K modem. You ought to try playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein or Soldier of Fortune 2 in multiplayer mode - awesome!

Just as a matter of interest what connections do forum members have ? ive cable im the only one in my area at the moment to have it and i can get up to 650 kpbs!costs me €35 per month.

I'm still on 56k :sad: cos I'm renting and my tightass landlord won't pay for ADSL or cable capability. No way I'm going to pay for it into his house!!

Thanks for rubbing it in guys that you all got cable. At least at work I got a T3 Lan connection though at work:-) with a 8MB internet connection

Should have downloaded it there and put it onto CD DOhhh.
