I agree - leave it as it is. As others have mentioned, I think the discussion forum is for just that - discussion.

If you want to know something about the CC then either look in the relevant section, post a question in a new topic, or even do a search. There's loads of useful information on here, so you're sure to find out. There's also heaps of very funny comments that make me  out loud from great people all over the world. When I come to UK again one day I'll have plenty of people to meet up with (and vice versa). What could be better?

rules are rules and they should be followed at all time - and that includes not taking the p*** out of other members robbie - namely myself

Derek, any rule against a member taking the P*** out of themselves? I can site a few cases but if I refererred to them I'd be breaking a rule by taking the p*** out of a member because they had no idea they were taking the p*** out of themselves. Now I've successfully confused and taken the p*** out of myself!

i have to admit that my enthusiasm for the forums has waned since on every visit i've had to plough through reams and reams of tangential and sometimes barely relevant posts.

daresay a chat room would be a good idea.

Now Duncs, you wouldn't be taking the..... out of me?

Take your point, but hey what's life without a little fun. I still think there's plenty of meat in the forums

Maybe a chat section is in order to segregate the trivial from the serious?

I'm with Trung. You can't teach old tricks to new dogs.

A couple of other boards I use have a 'non [insert main subject here] related section specifically for all the chit chat that makes life entertaining.

A 'CC - discussion' and a 'Non-CC discussion' section sounds good to me.
