Personally I wouldn't bother. I have a non-UK spec car, so my roof will indeed operate whilst moving at low speeds. Do you want to guess how many times i've used this feature? Exactly once. If you think about it, you aren't going to use it at any reasonable speed due to the strain it will put on the roof hydraulics, so that leaves very low speeds...i.e first/second gear. In these, you're going to need to shift way before your roof finishes it's cycle, so in my opinion it's an expensive gadget that doesn't really provide much in the way of adding features or convenience to your car.

The velcro mounting is genius โ might steal that idea for my own setup. Totally agree about the roof-down freedom being worth every penny, even if the price held steady. That midnight test drive sounds epic!
