Adding the 2.0L CC to my insurance just cost me £435 for 10 months. That's for comprehensive cover, in Leicester with £100 excess. Does that sound cheap to you, or ridiculously expensive? How did yours compare?

It sounds really cheap to me, we live on the outskirst of Manchester, but unfortunatley have a M postcode. My ins is nearly a grand. That would pay for all the mods I want, it's not fair

Unless my maths is wrong (always a strong possibility  ) your cheapest quote isn't that much more than mine:-

1,723.00 AUD = 630.809 GBP

And at least you can have the top down more than two weeks each year!

I'll swap you Sydney for Leicester anytime!

Sounds about right to me - I paid a little less with tesco - but then AxsMan you do't say how old you are/no claims discount etc

Skippy, You're right, does make it kinda hard to compare doesn't it?

Im 42, 5 year / 75% (protected) no claims.

Good job it's protected too as someone else (I wouldn't dream of embarrasing her by saying who  ) managed to hit a car park bollard in the Galaxy this year, and a month later I was sideswiped at a (green) set of traffic lights, no claims in 5 years then two in one month!

Hi axsman
460 sounds a bit expensive for your age, but then again it depends on where abouts in leicester you live. I lived their for about 14 years, so know the area well

Greg (Hey! You just made me think of Greedy Greg from Whizzer & Chips!)

Tescos & Direct Line are one and the same now (when I went online, there was a fiver in it)... also, Privelege is now in the Direct Line house as well...

Me? Age Thirty Heaven, Berks, Full no claims with NCB protection, fully comp around £500 (upgraded my insurance part-way through the year so not too sure). Pauline

That's with business miles and my old man as well... he wrote off his bike 3 yrs ago (own fault, a traffic bollard lept out in front of him) so not bad, I thought? And you mean Fizz  Pauline
