I was told by my dealer they were made in Germany!

Coventry only makes the normal 206's.

P.S.

We only test drove a 206CC as there was a demonstrator available when we went to place our order.

According to my What Car mag the standard UK spec 206 hatches are made in coventry on the old 306 line, the CC is made in france.

David van der Helm from International Car Sales in Waalwijk told me that if I imported from them, the CC would be sourced from Coventry.

(If only you could just get one from Coventry and cut out the middle man).

And I thought I was the only one silly enough to buy a car without test driving it. I did take a 206 around the block thought to be fair. Ha!!!!!
Great car, best impulse buy ever. Sometimes you just gotta trust your instinct!

Xelent so we do all drive english cars! We should get some Triumph badges and stick em on!

Mine took 3 months to come! howd you get yours in 8 days!

Sorry for the delay, been holidaying in Newquay for the last two weeks.

To answer the question - Just lucky I guess, the Dealer said it might be 'two - three weeks' but they 'might have one at another branch'. Turned out they did! So what is a typical wait time? is 8 days the quickest? Did anyone buy theirs 'off the showroom floor' (i.e walk in, drive out)? And what's the longest anyone has waited? (If I had to wait 12 weeks or more I'd buy something else - no patience
