Trip Computer

Can anyone tell me any thing about the trip computer? Is this only installed on the new spec? Does it use the Radio/Cassette display or does it have it's own like the old ford scorpio's !!!

The trip only comes on the new spec and is displayed in the area below the audio details. The control is a button on the end of the right hand stalk.

Push the button in for a number of seconds to reset trip details then the switch will allow you to toggle through the information

most useful is the current mpg - it's a challenge to get it sub-10. And post-40.

Also useful is the "miles left in your tank". If I lay off the right foot, I can get home from work without filling up
