Still not got my Pug. Told week 31 which is next week but the dealership can still not confirm this. Surely this close to delivery they should! They reckon as soon as the car arrives in the country I will get a letter sent to me with the reg number and some documents to sign and the car will go to the dealer for its PDI. As soon as I get the letter the car will be ready is a day or so. Is this what other people experiences when they ordered from a Peugeot dealer?
Why can't I have my car for all this nice weather we're getting at the moment?

nikkic, you sound really worked up about your new baby.

How about reading some cc magazines or I could sell you one of Rob's model Pugs with folding roof to see you through till your fix next week.

Next week? Humm... mine is being built tommorow ... Im waiting for the new reg on 1st September. Also isnt it usual that if you ask them what reg plates they ahve available you can choose on that is easy to remember ???

Also the document thing, mine was delivered to my house last time and I signed the documents there and then. Then went for a drive in the pouring down rain

Well I remember the dealer had a book containing a number of registration plates (allocated to them) for customers to choose.

I picked one out from a list of 30 I think.

pick of number plates now depends on the dealer. some now use a computerised system that allocates a number meaning you can't pick what one from their book.

as for a letter when the car arrives - never heard of that.

1st CC: i told dealer what week my car was due to arrive as i had liased with peugeot via e-mail. the dealer confirmed the exact day they expected it.

2nd CCC: a few days after they placed the order i got told it was already built and was on the way to the dealer.

Robbie, I've ordered a model from Rob and haven't got that either. So can't get a fix that way.
Yesterday I couldn't even get a fix of this site as my phone is out of order so no surfing
What else can go wrong?
Will chase the dealer today to find out where my Pug is

31 weeks from a UK dealer? I thought one of the disadvantages of importing was the wait compared to the UK. Is yours an uncommon spec or something?

Things have just got worse. Rang Pug Customer Services as my dealer was so useless at giving me any info. As soon as I gave them the order number they told me loads of info. Why couldn't the dealer.
Turns out car is not even built yet. Due for production next week with a delivery date of the last week in August.
Pug Customer Service says there is always a 8 - 10 week delivery time so cannot understand why the dealer told me any earlier.
There is going to be no nice weather left by the time I get my Pug! Sob!
It is not as if I have ordered anything strange....1.6, leather interior, alloys, Aegean Blue
