Hi Guys!!!!
Well took my CC on safari today ))
hahaha.. the giraffes showed particular interrest:))
anyways...
Finally saw the Auto volume setting on the stereo working (I always had it set to ON- but it never worked before!)

It seems the volume needs to be set quiet low.. below 4 or maybe 5.. and then it increases or decreases when u drive faster or slower.. tho it doesnt seem to work too well coz it increases sometimes wen its supposed to decrease.. etc haha..
any1 else got theirs to work at all????

Hey Farouk, I haven't got a clue, didn't know it had it! I've only just found out how to adjust the lean on my seat. How sad... So how do you do this auto thingy? Thanks! Pauline

Hey Pauline:)

Well its just after the treble and base settings... the "music note button" if pressed several times gives u this option... the last option is Auto Volume, you can change this from on to off using the arrow buttons.
The technicians say that if its turned on the volume should increase or decrease as the car speed (or ambient sound) increases or decreases:))))

mmm by the way.. are u all comfortable in your seat now?::)))

Well you learn something new every day. Any other gadgets I don't know about?

How about the automatic sunshine button! - I only seem to have found the cold, wet and windy setting since I got the car ;)

It turns out I did have auto-volume switched on! Didn't make any difference that I could see. I never have the volume below 10

Could it be if a car-kit is fitted? So when your mobile rings, it turns it down? Now, that WOULD be useful!

PS Vince, a small child (ie husband) discovered that the buttons next to the dash display changes it all to French

Hey neil, I'm sure that ALL CC owners would like to have sunshine. So you're ALL WELCOME in Greece to share the sun!!!
It's quite warm and very sunny even if it's still Jan.
Sorry Farouk and Frosty! I know you got much more heat down there at your place right now. I wish I could be in S.A or Australia right now!!!
What do you think about having auto PILOT?? It could help us to wave to other CC owners with both hands!

i think the auto volume function adjusts the volume when the roof is down according to road noise so the volume that you can hear stays the same.

derek
