I've been reading through some (very) old posts and comments on this site, and I remember seeing one from an owner who said the CD player on his 206cc would be the first thing he'd change.
What are the options? I asked at Peugeot in Clapham (a fairly bad dealership I found) and the saleman couldn't confirm whether there is a Peugoet supplied upgrade.
What are the opinions of other owners here? Is it a bad unit? Should I look for an after market replacement?
Actually that makes me think - is it a unique fit unit???
CD Stereo System - Is It Worth Changing???

i think the cd/radio in new spec (10/2001>) is the standard fit so anything will fit in it's place.
i'm not too worried about spending cash on ICE, plenty of other things to do that with. i don't have a problem with the standard equipment, especially as there are rear speakers (now 6) in the new spec which makes a massive difference over what was in my 206LX which only had 4 and no rear.
if you worry about ICE being great then you will probably change it but if you are like me then you will just leave it.

Forgive my complete ignorance, but is ICE the brand name of a recommended upgrade?
I'm going to give the standard fit CD system a run in, and then maybe think about upgrading.
Other owners have already given me ideas (through their posts) about add ons to consider (the mesh grill and twin headlight conversion for example).
Jeez - I haven't even got the car yet and I'm already thinking about changing it.
Better give Virgin Cars a bell to check that date again.

ICE is just the technical name for In Car Entertainment.
just a thought - there should be a lot of info in that section on the forum but it's not something i look at a lot.
