Nice topic Erm

BEST BITS:

Roof down on boxing day last Xmas, driving with woolly hats/coats/scarves much to the amusement of the old duffers behind us!

Meeting you guys oop North and Reading and soon-to-be down South

Windstop (a must!)

Induction kit - yummy vrummy

WORST BITS
Staying with my sister by the sea and being unable to find my car owing to a skip load of bird sh!t (it was under there, I just had to wipe a ton of poo off - I didn't know ostriches could fly)

Then finding bird poo smegged my paintwork

Reversing into a wall (ha ha! phew 2 mini scratches)

Dent on wheel arch (but removed piece a cake by Dent Devils - 10/10 guys, UR stars)

being chatted up by a leather-clad biker (my favourite type). Him "You look cool". Me "You look HOT!"

Best Moments:

Driving my CC around in the sunshine roof down.

Worst Moments:

When I came to sell it and found out thru bitter experience that imports had driven the private second hand prices down of UK dealer Pugs! Uuuuugh!

Best:

Closing the deal to buy the car.
Getting it.
Having to give just about every one of my relatives a ride in it the next day at a family get-together; including taking my 91 year old gran out and putting the roof down on Scarborough sea front and watching the necks twist.

Worst:

Finding a dented wing in a car-park one day.
Driver window opening itself while I was driving and staying open (naturally it was raining at the time too).
Motion sensor beeping regardless of the roof position (fortunately it sorted itself out).
Rear speaker blowing after a few weeks.
Continuously plunging stock market putting pretty much all mods on hold.

OMG, that takes me back  We went to France during World Cup 98 and ran out of petrol on the way home on a Sunday night too! We had cards but none of them would work so we parked up in a nearby layby and kipped the night there until someone opened up in the morning who could take our cash
