guy at works has TT roadster 225 bhp ... and I've pilotted it for a few times. Nice car but wouldn't want one .. ohh and £55.00 for a cup holder ... ohh and so far he's had :
1) indicators fall off
2) lights turn into goldfish tank
3) 4 air con units
4) remapped ECU
5) New leather interior

All apparently known problems with TT's . oh and the customer service is apparently worse the pugs !

Yep, Derek is right, I got only £13,100 in July from my dealer for my Oct 2001 2 litre SE with leather and 6k milage despite advertising it in auto trader etc for ages.

I really hope you do better, Flasher because I remember my disappointment all too clearly.

Good luck.

What about the Audi A4 convertible? I saw one yesterday minus the roof and oh my god - it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw.

Any A4 drivers wanna swop for a cc????

Ermy wormy I saw it and I'm not even an Audi fan but it was gorgeous, a medium blue colour, just checked the website and they start from £28,000 so I'd best start saving!!!

Heard today that a friend of a friend had picked up a <10 mile pre-registered (02 plate) 2.0SE for £13.5k.

I can't verify it and admittedly it sounds ridiculously cheap, but thought I would share it.

.. but have you sold it (as in 206CC at the head of this topic) yet? I may be interested. Where are you based?

Yes, apart from being a soft top its a lovely looking car with those sleek lines.

The only drawback I noticed is that when you drive the Audi it is so large it feels more like a tourer than a sports car.

I didn't get much of a drivers sense of satisfaction when behind the wheel (thought it got lots of looks fro onlookers) because it felt a bit tankish. Bacause of the heaviness of the car, you feel you need the bigger engine option and of course that works out a lot more expensive than the starting price.
