HellO!

Ive had the cc 7 days now, i have noticed
that its feels all the bumps in the road.
Here is the solution for you : Rent a SMART for one day and you think that the CC has the most softly suspension in the world

Eeeuuurrrggghhhh

My mum hired one of them damned smart cars for the weekend and I had to go in it with her back from the hire centre! I was soooooo embarassed at the number of smirks and strange looks we got!

The only good thing was the fact that it said 'hire car' all over it!!!

i also have a 1.6
try putting 28psi in the tires
if the back is a little loose (oversteer) try upping the rear ones to 30psi
handles fine and very nice over bumps
i use this setting as the roads in egypt are very badly paved and have a lot of bumps
28 is fine and very comfortable
you lose a little comfort, but you gain a lot of comfort.
so you choose either sporty or comfortable

i agree with what julia said about the low profile tyres but if you have a 1.6 i don't know what size the tyres are .....

my last car was a P206 LX and as soon as i went in the CC for a test drive i noticed the difference in ride e.g. feeling all the bumps and the sales guy it was because of the low profile tyres. the other CC i had a test drive in was the same as are the two CC's i have owned.

it doesn't take long to get used to it and you won't notice it before long. it's mainly on the small roads you notice it as the ride quality is perfect on motorways etc..
