i don't want to sound heavy handed but certain members should read the rules and take a closer look at number 6, things have gone on far toooo long with nothing being really said.

some members have said that they are fed up with certain members just star/spinney logo chasers which i have to agree with, this forum is certainly entertaining but on the other hand it's getting increasing difficult to find anything to do with the CC at all !!!!!!

I don't want to turn this it slanging match just needed to vent my opinion of MY forum.

rant over

Yes do agree with that but I do think that there are exceptions. In most topics eg styling, problems etc there should be cc postings but in the discussion its just a bit of fun and we all have a laugh about all different things. The discussion is more like a general discussion forum about anything going on!

Sorry for any offence taken if we have written silly non cc things!

Lyndon,
ok hands in the air .. ya got me and I admit to getting a little carried away today, so apologies to all. I'm sure you don't want to hear exscuses but i'd had a crud day at work and this forum frensy was keeping my sane and the stress level low.
However this issue with postings does seem to be a bit of a contentiose one, with differeing people wanting different things out of the forum and particular expecing different things in the 'Discussion' topic,

We had this discussion a couple of months ago and a chat room was proposed which didn't really satisfy many people for varise reasons one of the main being that the Aussies would never really be able to join in and many people here in the uk would also struggle during normall hours. So the issue slipped away really (and the forum seemed queiter for a while too)
So it seems we are back to square one .... Can i suggest that we try and get something sorted out so that we dont have another repeat. Maybe use the new poll functionality to determine what would be good ?
I'd suggest simply setting up a new off topic area where we can post anything NON CC related, although the problem often is many cc posts become non cc posts by the end of their life.
I don't think it's too big a problem though and I'm sure we can sort it out. And please anyone don't take this as critisim of any kind - just trying to find a solution, not lead a revolution

Lyndon if I'm out of line posting this to the forum I apologise. I debated whether to send it pm to you or to post it here for quie a while. But you have those mod powers so you are welcome to reomve it.

hmmmm, dont know if i'm included in this or not :?:

i would say no coz i haven't made a lot of posts recently for obvious reasons.

i haven't even made many since i got my new laptop on sunday as quite honestly the new forum doesn't always show that it has been read when it has been and many threads do not display all posts made in it - sometimes page refresh function helps but i don't have all that much time to do that so finding CC posts hasn't been the problem but more working out whats what.

hopefully these teething problems will be sorted out as apart from that the forum is very good.

I don't know what really to write here now.

maybe an Off-topic section is an idea as the forum is much quieter today than yesterday.

Lyndon,
I shall post less be more like the silent lurker  and hopefully all my future posts will be more CC-related. I don't like the chance of this, however. I will try :) :) :) No offence taken in anyway.

Paul_y3k,
thanks for your kind words. Aussies loves you. :P
